With more than 30 years of experience, Rychetnik is known for his ability to capture heroic scenics, intimate scenes and vividly cast characters for feature films, network programming, documentary films, high-end commercials, marketing videos and social media distribution. Whether shooting film or high definition video, he is trusted to deliver unforgettable, bigger-than-life images—even when working in extreme conditions.
Rychetnik’s work spans commercial shoots on primeval glaciers to tight, run-and-gun shoots with the U.S. Army Special Forces training operations.
In 2010, Rychetnik worked as a camera operator on 1st and 2nd Unit for the Universal Pictures/Working Title Films feature, Big Miracle, directed by Ken Kwapis and starring Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski, Kristen Bell, and Ted Danson. He also performed as Aerial DP and 1st Unit Operator for the feature film, Beyond, starring Jon Voight, Dermot Mulroney and Teri Polo. His most recent work includes 1st Unit camera operator for The Frozen Ground, starring Nic Cage, John Cusack and Vanessa Hudgens.
